Hello compiler,
Thank you for taking interest in my post.

> Where are you?
I am Japanese, but now I live in Australia as a naturalized Australian
citizen.
> Where did you get your education, experience and how long?
I graduated a Japanese university. I have been working as a translator for
the past eight years.
> Is your education related with your job?
I obtained a bachelor of arts degree in English, so I would say my
university education is directly rlated to my career.
> What educational credentials and proof of experience did you provide?
I sent a certificate of graduation and transcript from my univeristy, a
bunch of letters of receommendations from my clients, letters from my former
employers, documents showing I am the sole director of an incorporated
translation company in Australia, tax assessment letters from the Australian
government showing the annual income and tax for myself and my company for
the past two years, and a certificate of accreditation from the Australian
translation/interpretation industry body stating that I am recognized as a
professional translator by the body.
> Does your job title clearly match the occupation in the NOC list?
I think I saw 'translator' in the NOC list.
> What is your self-assessment score?
Under the old system, I think I scored 73 or 75. Under the new system, my
score is only 67. (This is another strange part. I had received my
interview call-up letter a few weeks before the pass mark was lowered to 67.
I did not expect to be called up for an interview because I was below the
pass mark and the Federal Court had ordered CIC not to reject any
application filed under the old law. This means that they the LA consulate
was willing to issue me a visa even though my scroe was below the pass mark
at the time, or they knew the pass mark would be lowered in a few weeks'
time.)
> Is LA your selected interview city?
No. I thought I would get the visa without an interview.
If you could give me any ideas what sort of question they might be
interested in asking, it would be really appreciated.
Thank you for reading this rather long e-mail.
Hmm
