Default H1B visa application

Hi, there

If two companies in US are willing to sponsor me the H1B visa in
January 2004. One is a mid-size non-profit company; the other is a
mid-size for-profit company. Which one should I choose in terms of the
possibility of getting H1B visa. If I choose the second one and they
are willing to hire a lawer for me, what is the possibility for me to
get the H1B visa?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
