Hi,

I have a question on H1-B required documents from the Alien side.
When I go through the list of required documents from the Alien I came
across that Alien needs to provide a copy of EAD card if the Alien in F1
status. Alien gets EAD ( Employment Authorization document) when apply for
her/his OPT. What if the Alien in CPT. CPT also allows the Alien to work
full time up to certain months.

In order to apply for H1B, you will need a degree. if you are
graduating then as soon as you graduate, ur CPT will be invalid and u
will have to obtain a OPT.

All you need is evidence that you are maintaining F-1 status. This may
be documented by form I-20 and a letter from one's university
confirming that you are a full time student. If you are not a full
time student then the University's letter should explain why you are
nevertheless maintaing student status.
