Green Card Extension after 2 years

Hello everyone,

I had my temporary green card for 2 years but I had to divorce before the interview for my permanent one. Besides that I just figured out that I had to file for my permanent one before 3 months of its expiration. I did not do that and my question is: what can be the consequences of that? I appreciate any advice. .

File for a waiver via form I-751 asap. Include your divorce papers and
as much evidence as possible of your bona fide marriage. You will most
likely be called for an interview but understand it is rather routine.
