grad temp visa Vs. student visa

Hi

my question is related to Graduate temporary visa.

I am currently on student visa till july 2004,according to visa
conditions, I have to undertake full time study load in each semester.

But I want to do rest of my studies ( one semester left) on part time
basis ( 1 or 2 subject per semester).

I have already completed Gradute diploma.After completion of this one
semester I'll get my masters.

Is it possible to cancel my student visa ( which is still valid) and
switch to grad temp visa which allows me to study as part time.

The rules surrounding the onshore student skilled visas, and the
graduate temporary visa, are very complicated. In that kind of area,
it's essential to get good advice - hire an experienced migration
agent straight away.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of graduating students have missed out on
chances to get PR because they were confused about the rules and
slipped up on a technicality.

Jeremy,

I've said this before, and I'll mention it again.

I know of someone who missed out on a onshore overseas student skilled
visa altogether just because he missed certain critical deadlines and
because of his unique circumstances. Before I came across this
particular case, I was more inclined to think that obtaining a onshore
overseas student skilled visa was relatively painless. Now, not so.

I have come across numerous cases of onshore graduate students in a
visa mess (after trying to do their application on their own), for a
whole variety of reasons.
Sometimes it's possible to fix things, often it isn't.
