hi all.
today i arrived at charlotte USCIS at 7:15, waited in line before the
door opened. whew, talking about the cold! *this tropical girl felt
like coming out from tropical oven to the wintry fridge* few minutes
later the door opened. had to go through the security search. i
remember JG told me to have breakfast before but we were in a hurry, so
i took few brownies with me. anyway the security found my delicious
brownies, told me to food allowed then tossed my food into trash can.
there went my breakfast huhuhu...
so anyway. i got my number ticket, waited for 30-something people ahead
of me, got called and showed the passport and the receipt. waited
waited waited, at before 12 got my name called again. i went into the
room and got my picture taken and my right index finger printed. thats
all folks!

interim EAD at hand! yupeee!
one thing that surprised me. i saw many people coming there for this and
that, but many people really didnt know what they are dealing with. i
mean there were some guys showed up there for something that should have
been done months ago, a little girl looking for her NOA 2... an
immigrant family wanted a resident status right away so the daughter can
pay cheaper for the college. i felt sorry for them for not preparing
what they are supposed to deal and how and when, also got little bit
unpatient because those people really made the line sooo much longer!
thanks God i found this forum. i wish more and more people join this
forum so they know what to deal with this crazy immigration process.
so, EAD at hand, tummy crying for hunger... what can be better than
that? thanks for eveyone for the tips and infos!
