I have got my interview date, 20th January.



I returned pkt 3 on 7th January, next day delivery and received pkt 4, 3
days later on 10th January. Phew!

CB, I see in your timeline, that at one point you were told it could be
12 weeks for an interview. Did they say why it would take so long? I
always thought London was very quick in getting people in for
interviews. We're hoping that our file is rec'd by them by the end of
the month so that he can get an interview in mid-March (keeping our
fingers crossed!!). Thankfully you got your interview when you needed
it though!

CB appears to have taken my advice and gone off to pack. But I think I
might know the answer (but she'll correct me, regardless). The 12 week
estimate was over the consular phone line, which I think is actually a
call center based somewhere outside London. CB got a "form" response,
which was actually a range, with 12 weeks as the outside date.



Obviously things are happening much faster than that! CB herself thought
the Embassy would respond quickly, and they did.

Congratulations on getting an interview date. Our case was sent to
London on Dec. 24. My hubby still hasn't received P3. I hope it
will be soon.

Hi..

I just emailed and they received the case today 1-12-04 then sent it to
my husband this afternoon. Great news for us!
