Default Good Immigration agent

Hi,
I am looking for a good immigration agent who could guide me through
the application process.Since i am in USA so i would prefer an agent
here or an agent with a short response time. I will be highly obliged
if some one can give me their contact info.

Regards,
Sumeet

In my opinion, it is best that you look for agent that reside in OZ or
at least has a representative there. Agent in OZ usually has a good
relationship and can contact immigration for urgent matter in person.
As for your contact with him, email is very sufficient.

In fact, you can find several excellent agents here in this NG. Try
searh for George Lombard, Alan Collett, Steven O'Neil and several
others. They are very responsive with emails.

Go for Steven O'Neil ...

Though I've done my application myself.. and I
am not his client.. still he replies so promptly to all my emails..

Send him an email.. and you'll know for yourself..

Send an email to
the other listed agents.. and you'll get a reply.. '$150 for an hours
consultation" :)

No offence meant..

I feel Steven is the BEST !!

I use Erik Cardoso Smith. He's in OZ and in MARA too. He works
impeccably. I think he does your first evaluation for free.

Cheers.

HI
I do
agree with others, Select an agent in OZ. They get the news fast and
they are in touch with DIMIA.

I am using George Lombard. He is great.
George or Steven are good. They answer the emails and queries even
though you are not a client. That makes them special.

Try sending an
email and the choice is yours.

Cheers and good luck
Badri

Here is my story.

The first agent I contacted is Anda Pilmanis in Colorado, USA. She
does not response to emails very often. I phoned her and she mailed
me a package through USPS instead of returning my calls. She also
charges by the hour.

Then I went for my first agent in Australia. After charging me, he
delayed the assessment for around 4 months by holding the application
without taking any action.

After I switched to George Lombard, things are going as smooth as
babe's bottom except the waiting part, which no one can do anything
about it.

My case is not done yet, so I cannot give a final word at this moment.
However, if I were you, I would go for George Lombard.

I agree with sid1104.

Steven O'Neil is a very honest agent. If you
explain your situation to him and if your case is straight forward, he
will tell you that you don't need an agent. But if you do the same to
other agents, they may still recommend you to look for professional
advice (i.e. pay for their service). I didn't use any agent myself but I
did ask Steven for some professional advice on my case (I needed to
decide within one day whether to re-lodge a new appl or not when I was
put into the pool by a harsh case officer). He gave me an almost
immediate response even though I am not his client.

Any agent would get
my business easily especially on the day I got the "pooled" letter from
DIMIA but Steven honestly told me that I didn't need to spend the money,
and he taught me step by step how to re-lodge the appl when time was
pressing (my ACS assessment expired in 2 days time after I got the
"pooled" letter. I only had 2 days to prepare & send a new appl or I
need to re-do my ACS assessment. My new appl successfully reached DIMIA
on the last day of my ACS assessment validity and I'm now waiting for
medical requests etc..). It was just like what he did here to help
people to lodge their appl before 14/4.

Sorry, my case may confuse you
'cos it is quite abnormal but to sum up, Steven is honest and very
experienced and if I were you, I will definitely choose Steven
