Default German Rail Overnight Train Question (MUC-PRG)

Hello,

I'm looking at taking a night train from Munich to Prague this
Saturday (May 22). My wife and I would probably purchase a 2-berth
sleeper car space. My question revolves around bringing our bike with
us. When searching on the bahn.de Web site for "carriage of bikes,"
only the regional trains show up. Is it possible to transport a
bicycle on the night ("D") train as luggage? Or, is there any room in
the compartment to stow the bike? We have a tandem bicycle that comes
apart into two small parts about 66cm. / 26in. square (each much
smaller than a regular bicycle).

Related question: the Web site is also ambiguous about the "Sparnight"
promotion. It shows up as an option on the booking page for the Prague
train, but the description says it is only valid to Austria, Italy,
Denmark and Switzerland.

Thanks for any help!

This is one of those areas where the DB Journey Planner is
particularly prone to being wrong, but usually with other country's
services. It seems less likely to be wrong bout one of their own
trains, but it could be a CZ train. I suspect that you will get no
better information online and will need to phone DB and ask.

I very much doubt that you will be allowed to do this
