Default Form 886 settlement details

Hi

I am going through my list of docs needed to complete my front
loaded spouse visa application and so far have the following: -

47SP -
Application for visa
40SP - Sponsor

26A - Medical
160A - xray

80 -
Character
Police clearance

I have the required evidence of joint
accounts/bills and our statements.

I was wondering though - on another
post I saw form 886 settlement details mentioned but I can't find this
form. Can anyone shed any light?

Also I am applying from UK - where do
I get the wording/forms for stat declarations from our family and
friends here and in Australia.

Any advice/help would be greatly
appreciated.

Here's the Stat dec link:

http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/statdec.htm

Can't find the
form 886 on there anymore. Don't think its mandatory but it might be
worth checking.

Hi, I based the wording on the stat
decs on the questions on form 888, I basically gave everyone in the Uk
who I was getting to do a stat dec a copy of form 888 and said answer
there questions on this form in a couple of paragraphs on this Stat dec,
All was accepted, I asked the friends and family in Australia to fill in
form 888, all this was also accepted.

I was sent form 886 with my grant
letter so don't worry about it yet, It is basically a very simple form
where you can give your address in Australia so they can forward you
visa details to the local Dimia office. It is not a mandatory form.

Good Luck
Kala

HI all
[Do we need form 888 if applying for defacto visa from outside
Uk, or is just stat decs sufficient???
I didn't realise that this form
was required by family in Oz.

886 is horible to find; the only way I have ever manasged to get it for
people is by opening another form (eg 888), then changing the number in
the address line to 886.

Try this link -

No you dont need it I just found it easier to explain
to those on the other side of the world what to do by using this form as
al the instructions were on itRather than saying please write a
statetement on a stat dec about our relationship.

I havd 4 of them done
by my in laws and some friend of ours in Australia. An 5 stat decs done
in the Uk by Uk citizens mum, dad, sister and friends, Probably over the
top but I got my visa so cant have upset them too much
