Default Fingerprinting Letter Lost due to change of address

Hi there,

I filed my AOS in NYC local office on MAY 21'2002 and my case is still
pending.

I did move after i filed I-485 and changed my local address at local
NYC office. I visited the office two days back and was told that my
case has been transfferred on Dec 9'2003 to MSC for which they gave a
receiept number to me.

When i check the status it says my application is pending and it takes
120-180 days(which are already over on May 9'2004) and that they
mailed a letter to me on Dec 9 informing me the Receipt number and
projected time.

NOW I NEVER RECEIVED THIS LETTER AND I AM GUESSING BECAUSE WHEN NY
TRANSFFERRED MY CASE TO MSC THEY DID NOT SEND THE NEW ADDRESS. I AM
ALSO WORRIED IF THEY DID SEND THE FINGERPRINTING LETTER AND THAT TOO
AT THE LAST ADDRESS WHICH OBVIOUSLY I NEVER GOT.

I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS:

1)WHEN THEY SEND THE FINGERPRINTING APPOINTMENT LETTER OUT, DO THEY
CHANGE THE STATUS ON THE WEBSITE SAYING LETTER HAS BEEN SENT.(IF THEY
DO CHANGE THE STATUS, THEN I AM SAFE AND I HAVE NOT MISSED THE MAIL
BECAUSE THE STATUS DOES NOT SAY THAT LETTER HAS BEEN SENT).

2)HOW CAN I CHANGE THE ADDRESS AT MSC SERVICE CENTER??WHAT IS THEIR
ADDRESS WHERE I CAN SEND/FAX THIS LETTER FOR NEW ADDRESS AND REQUEST
THEM NEW FINGERPRINTING DATE(IF I HAVE MISSED IT)???

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Bharat

Have you filled out the AR-
11 and sent? You can check on this by writing a letter to the place
where you filed. They may reply though, it might take some time. If your
change of address is completed, they do send you a letter, saying that
this has been done.

My fingerprint letter was
on my NOA1. It just said the next step is to book an appointment for
fingerprinting. Can't you request another copy of the NOA that you
didn't receive?
