Default Fingerprinted in NYC December 2003...too long?

My husband had his fingerprints in NYc done December 2003. Does that
seem unusually long? We're going to write our rep but I'm not sure if
it'll help. What does one say in the letter? So we just formally ask
her to inquire on our case and get back to us?

Just curious,
Thanks

Same situation. We called the congressman's office but they got
nowhere with USCIS. It's probably pointless, but I say do it anyway.
The worst thing that could happen is nothing.

Check out their website or call them. A letter is insufficient. Most
often they will have their own form that you have to complete and sign
and fax back to them authorizing them to act on your behalf. Similar to
the authorization letter that an attorney uses.
