I finally got a letter from CIC asking to do Medicals & requesting
additional Info. The letter says that interview is not required and I
have passed the Immigration Process. I have few question?



1. Is there a time limit for me to submit all the medicals and other
Info. Because it does not have any deadline and I still have Project
till end of October 2004.



2. They have requested for me to pay ROLF for myself and CLP but She
does not want to move to canada now so is it possibale that I can
just send my medicals and ROLF need your advise and Inputs.

1. Letter you received should state the deadline for medicals and additional
documents.

2. If your CLP is part of your application then her medicals and ROPR fee
must be submitted as well. If she won't undergo or fails medicals then your
application will be refused.

Thanks for response its just a one page letter I have received from CIC
there is no deadline or date they want me to do my medical and send all
the Info that's why I am confused.



Pl. advise what I should do?.

Hi Arufly,

1) Can you, please, specify what are the additional info. that CIC
asked you to send? I am a 2001 applicant and my case is almost
similar to yours.

2) Was your file transferred to NY Consulate? mine was transerred in
Nov. 2002 and till now no reply from them except the updated forms and
IELTS that was requested in July 2003 (for the spouse) and October
2003 (for me, principal applicant).

I had a very similar situation They had asked for my IELTS and other
documents On June of 2003 I sent everything back on August and had not
heard from them since then but finally I got a letter asking to do
Medicals, Resend FBI Cards, FUNDS Info, Copy of Passport and Photos. and
it said on the bottom that my application was complete and I did not
need Interview. So looks like you are not far you should be getting
letter anytime Good luck.



I did Have question for Miller this letter has no Deadline date for
me to send all this things back so I really don't know how many days
I have before I can send all the details back.

One more question, please.
What do you mean by FUNDS Info.? is it about your account history or
simply the bank statement (of the current month)?

Concerning your medical exam and documents requested by cic, if I were
you I would start gathering all the documents and send them as soon as
possible and also undergo the medicals now. There is no deadline in
the letter they sent you. In my understanding, cic want them in the
very near future.

I wish you all the success in your application process.

They just want me to resend a letter from the bank Showing my
bank Balance.



I have just submitted my FBI card so that will take another 20days So I
think I will go do my medicals soon.



I still would like to get an answer From the Experts How long can I
wait before I send all my Info.

Good Question? My CLP has her labor for Greencard going on here in US
Past two Years still waiting. So I really don't want to Waste this big
money on ROLF and medical etc... Hope the labor clears and we apply for
140 etc.. and get our EAD card.

So, it means that you applied for Canadian PR visa just as insurance and
still hope for GC to come through. Just wait what applicants who selected
Canada as their not only primary but as only choice will tell you about you
being one of many who created ever growing backlog in Buffalo while they who
want to move to Canada and don't care about US GC have to wait and wait....

BTW, I'm not up to date with US immigration law but I don't think that you
can a part of your CLP petition for anything as far as GC goes.
