Australia Australia is geographically the sixth-largest country in the world, and the only one to occupy an entire continent. Living in such a large country makes is difficult to find other expats. Connect with each other here.

Smile Fiancee visa stuff

Hello! I'm in the terror tunnel waiting to see if the High Commission will let me into Oz. I'm marrying an Australian professional and I'm self employed with an average income of £30,000. Trouble is...what kind of proof of income will they require? I have included bank statements showing BAC payments from high profile clients and a letter from my accountant detailing my last self assessment liability. Will this be enough?

Also...what's the time scale on the application? Ours went in on 13th July and the payment has been processed. Any help would be gratefully received.
