Default FBI Clearance complete, next step?

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I had sent away for my FBI
clearance on December 9, 2005 and received the card back by Jan 17,
2006. I had written a deadline on the envelope and indicated it was
for Canadian Immigration, so maybe that helped. Anyone have an idea of
the time frame between sending in the FBI check (sent on Jan 18) and
getting the request for the passport. Are there any other steps in
between these two? My medical was also completed back in Dec 05. Am I
reading this correctly in other posts, that we have the option to go
directly to the Buffalo office to submit our passports and have them
back in potentially the same day, instead of mailing them in? I am US
citizen applying as a skilled worker. Is that the final step? Thanks.

Default Re: FBI Clearance complete, next step?

Hi,

Just a question: did you send for FBI clearance before sending in your
application as skilled worker? or after? I am asking because I know it
is valid for 6 months, and am wondering what is the point of including
it in the packet if it will take them more than 6 months to process the
application (so does that mean we will have to do it all over again?).
Kind of confusing.

Also I didn't get the reference about the passport; are you talking
about the interview. If so, you are very close to being done
