Default F1 int. students getting married?

Hi, I'm planning to start college in fall semester and get an F1 visa.
My boyfriend is already an F1 student. We plan to get married when I
come to the US but we can't find the answer to what bothers us. My
question is: IS IT possible for two F1 students to get married? My
boyfriend says one of us will have to change status, be a dependent of
the other and get F1 (which doesnt allow to study) and in my opinion we
can get married and we both of us stay F1s until we graduate. How does
the thing work actually? Does one of us have to change their status? Or
is it possible to remain with F1s?

Thans for help,

Aleks

Neither of you must change your status simply because you have
married. You may both continue to be in F-1 status.
