From what i have seen of oz bricklaying if you through away your glasses
and close one eye you should be ok

I have never heard of an eye test for a bricklayer suppose its more of
an health and saftey issue
if there is any test it will certainly be after correction so if your
glasses are right your should be ok

hi just been for our medicals it was a doddle, my husband doesnt have
good eyesight and should wear glasses, he was asked to read from a
board covering one eye and you were lucky if it was a metre away. there
is a part on the medical forms about eye sight. i am sure it says
something about taking a copy of the prescription you have for your
glasses with you.

hope it helps.
