Hi all

I've got a friend who is working on a 12 month visa to work in
Australia and this has almost expired. He is thinking of applying for a
working visa for New Zealand but is not sure if he can do this whilst
still in Australia.

Can anyone tell me if he can apply whilst still in
Australia?

And is it true that he can also work in Australia with a
New Zealand working visa?

No you Cannot work in OZ on an NZ working Holiday visa. You
can see if your friend can get sponsored by his employers ...

To apply
for an NZ working holiday maker you need to be in your home country.

Nope - he has to be in his home country to get a new visa for NZ
I asked
too while I was there and was told this by NZ and Oz immigration.
