Dear Sirs,

After three years of waiting finally I received my passport with
Immigration Visa stamped. I have to enter Canada not latter then end
of June 2004.
At the moment I have very good contract job that will expire in March
2005. I would like to know how the procedure goes on after the passing
the Port of entry? I would appreciate if you can advise me regarding
the following.
How long does it take to complete all the necessary paper work upon
arrival to Canada, to get Permanent residence status that ensures save
return to Canada after one leave it? I am planning to settle in
Toronto.
The second question is: Is there any Immigration Regulation that
regulate time that I have to spent in Canada upon my arrival before my
first leave from Canada?
I know that I am obligated to spend at least two years within the
period of five years after my arrival to Canada, but I didn't find
anything about above mentioned. I would like to finish my current
contract but of course I don't want to do anything that could affect
my Permanent Residence Status in Canada? Please advice me.
