There's a chance I will be re-assigned to Australia in the next few
months under a company-sponsored temporary residence visa. While this
is good I'm not sure if this will have any impact on my plans to
submit an application to migrate under the skilled-independent
category. I haven't submitted my skills assessment application but am
planning to in the next week or so. Need advice on:

- while holding a temporary residence visa and working in australia,
can i still apply for permanent residence? under skilled-independent
or is there a more appropriate category?

- I will be bringing my spouse under the temporary residence visa as
my dependent, will she be allowed to work? Are there restrictions or
she can have full-time working rights?

- will having company-sponsored employment and temporary residence
improve my chances of getting approval for permanent migration given
the higher pass mark? didn't see any indication based on the points
system.

Would really appreciate detailed advice so I can make the right move.
