No, it should not pose a problem for her at all, but what does she lose
by carrying a letter from the owner as proof that she has authority to
drive the car to the U.S., just in case U.S. Customs asks, but I am
almost sure they will not. All U.S. Customs will want to know is her
purpose in visiting the U.S., how long she intends to stay, what goods
and food items she is bringing with her.
