Default Empoyment Enquiry

Hi

I am Indian citizen & I have received my assessment from TRA , however I
have one query, I am working with my father and he is proprietor of the
firm for the past 20 Years and business is being run in his name .

Before applying for assessment I raised this issue with TRA as well who
had advised me that I have to provide work reference as employee and not
as self employed / owner operator because I do not have any documentary
evidence to prove that I am owner operator because business is being run
in my father s name. Hence my name does not figure out in any
government document, I do not take any fixed salary being in the family
business, hence please advise what documents should I provide as
evidence of my employment & salary.

Thanks to anyone who helps.
Harry

Could you speak to an agent and get some advice?

It sounds like this might not be straight forward.
