Default Employer sponsorship for me

Hi, I have been talking by phone with a company in Montreal who are
potentially interested in employing me, and sponsoring me to live over
there (I'm in Britain).

The company's managing director has asked me to prepare an email
stating precisely what it would entail for them to sponsor me.

I have spent the past few days reading everything I can on the subject
but the amount of information available is daunting, and I want to be
sure that what I send him is exactly right.

I would be most grateful indeed if someone could either tell me the
information I'm looking for, or point me in the right direction for
definitive answers.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Colin

Hi, I am certainly no expert but I have been in Canada for the last
year living with my canadian partner. I have found it very difficult
to get a job, firstly the company has to have an immediate wroker
shortage, it then needs to have proof that it has advertised the job
for a period of time and that no suitable canadian can be found to do
the job for which they are hiring you. Alot depends on the type of
work you do and your qualifications!!!! They must then obtain an LMO
Labour Market Opinion, which will then allow them to recruit a foreign
person for the position. They should then be able to offer you a job
and with a job offer you can apply for a temporary work permit on
entry to Canada. Good Luck
