Default Emergency Help needed

You will never believe the story so I won't bother telling.

Got my visa
grant letter sent to me and lost it along with Birth Cert and other
stuff.

Does anyone know which form I need to download from
www.immi.gov.au to get my visa?

I also booked flights so if
someone could tell me how long this bit takes that would be great.

Cheers
Worried Pete

What a b*gg*r!

Things always HAPPEN
at a time like this - you'll laugh about it in a year's time but
certainly not yet!

they will have your visa grant o
their system, so give em a ring and ask what to do. would imagine a
covering letter in with your passport would suffice??
good luck

Hi Peter,

There's no form, and most Australian offices will be closed today, but I
suggest you email and fax your case officer and also contact your nearest
Australian High Commission/Embassy/Consulate. They can email a replacement
grant letter to you, and you would normally need to present that letter to
have the visa affixed in your passport.

Cheers

Your visa remains valid even if you've lost the grant letter!
You need to get in touch with DIMIA straight away - the AHC London may
well be able to look it up on their system, especially if you have your
file number.

If you've lost your passport you need to get a new one asap, then get
the visa stamped.

Thanks everyone for the advice, my agent calmed me down on Friday to say
"calm down", he sent the 886 form to fill in on email and the visas are
on the way.
All other docs now replaced, thank god for that... time to
gloat at work now and enjoy the last of the snow.
Flying on the 10th
Business class with Cathay Pacific, cannot wait for the big party.
