Default Eligible to apply for Skilled Worker Immigration?

Hello All,
I am a fresh graduate right outta college in the United States. I have
a Masters' Degree in Electrical Engineering and just started working
(been about three weeks now) for a company as a Network Engineer. The
only other work experience I have is a summer internship that I did
during my college degree (about 3 months, 40 hrs/week).

I know the minimum work experience requirement for immigration
applications is at least 1 year but is there any way I can get the
application process started or would I have to wait till I have a
total 1 yr of experience? Does my internship count?

I am an Indian citizen living in the US for the past 6 years (student
visa) and I guess I'd have to apply to Buffalo?

Thank you all for your help and input.
Chris

Sorry but you'll have to wait until you meet the criteria. And you can
apply through Buffalo when you have the experience provided you are still in
the USA.
