For those interested in the green card. I filed for my first E3 in July
2005, and a second concurrent E3 was filed and approved in August 2006.
I filed for a green card in June 2006 and it was approved this week.
The USCIS never challenged me as to dual intent status - so it is
definitely possible to use the E3 as the path to a green card. Good luck
to all of you.

Wakkas, might be heading over to your state soon, might have to catch up
for a beer or two
I've had the E3 for just under 1 year and well it's time to see if
the grass is indeed greener on the other side working for a new
employer. Can anyone who has successfully transferred the E3 visa
to a new employer tell me about their experiences and paperwork
involved please ??
I am guessing the following paperwork will be required:
- Job Offer
- CV / Resume
- Copy of Degree with US certifications
- Recent payslips maybe ?
- I-94, copy of existing E3, SSN etc;;
I want to make sure I have all the paperwork handy as I left some of the
initial stuff that was applied for the E3 back home. If need be, I can
at least get it Fedexed over quickly.
Thanks

thanks for bringing that up coz i intend on changing my employers after
a year - please let us know how you go. also, do we really need to show
recent payslips for the E3?
i have never been for a visa interview - a silly question: since the
e3 is for professionals, does this mean that we have to dress formally
for the interview?? - does it have any bearing on the outcome?? - its
going to be summer soon in sydney and i would much rather go in a t-
shirt & jeans.

Hi,
Okay heard from the attorney today asking for the following information:
- Passport copy
- SSN back and front copies
- 3 paystubs from previous company
- copy of back and front of I-94
- Resume and copy of transcripts with educational equivalency and degree
copy
- Signed copy of new contract
Apparently from what he said, there is no premium processing and so it
can take a few months to get it approved, might have to spend X-Mas over
here in the states then.
I'll get the paperwork sent off next week and then see what happens..
I do not have a dependent so at least there is less paperwork to
fill out
