I'm not quite sure I understand the situation. Will you be A's employee,
or B's employee - basically, who will write your pay checks?

If it is A, then generally nothing needs to be done (although there is a
possible issue if the job is located in a different city). There are
also possible issues regarding layoffs and the like.

If needed, the employer, not the employee, would take care of that kind
of thing.

That, too, is the employer's problem. You do need to make sure that you
have an approved petition for whoever you are actually employed with.

Regarding transfers while in the U.S. See

Each employer must have his own LCA.

Hi Everyone,

My employer faxed the LCA application about 20 working days ago but
there is no news from DOL regarding the application at all.

Can someone please post their experience with LCA processing and how
long did it take to get LCA approved. I heard that it is approved
instantly online but there are conflicting views on this issue
because some say their LCA was not accepted online. The DOL is also
not clear on this.

Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks

Niki

Niki, since Jan 5 2006 LCA for Australians is available online. I used
it to help out a family member and it indeed gets approved within
seconds.
http://www.lca.doleta.gov/eta_start.cfm
DOL is very clear about it, just follow the link and you should be fine.
Good luck.

let me know if your relative got the E3? If yes, then did they use the
signed copy or the original LCA? Thanks.
