Default E mail but not an I've got it...

Just had an e-mail from agents requesting a police clearance check for
my 16 yr old. Is this usual? My agent assured me that there was no
paperwork outstanding and that all we were waiting for was the visa - I
am gutted. Should my agent have pe-empted the necessity for this when my
daughter turned 16??

Oh Bexie, just when you think it's on it's way!

I would have thought your agent should have realised this. Was she
already 16 when you had your police checks requested?

I am absolutely gutted for you, this is gonna set you back a couple of
weeks.hmy:

Karma on it's way (can't, got to spread myself, but the
sentiments there)

How long to get the police check?! We sent our checks to agents before
requested - they were then requested after her birthday. I am absolutely
gutted. Should the agents have realised? My husband will lose his job
now. He's not in yet and I'm dreading telling him. I really appreciate
your thoughts!

they readvertise on the 1st February....am soooo gutted. Want to vent my
anger on agents, they didn't spot that my youngest daughter's passport
needed renewing until DIMIA requested it. Surely that is what I am
paying them for? Mind you venting my disappointment on my agent will
achieve nothing will it? Sorry to whinge, I have just hit an all time
low since this journey began in May 2005.
