Default Don't Come If You Don't Have a Degree

If you are coming to the US to set up your own business, then you have no problems. But if you are going to work for someone else and expect to have a good, highly paid job, then you stand almost no chance unless you have a degree of some sort, preferably a Bachelors.

Fortunately I put the college time in way back in the '80s and I can honestly say that my degree never did me one darned bit of good in many years of working in the UK, a lack of such a qualification in the UK is absolutely no block to getting a good job, but here in the US it's essential.

My honest and best advice would be not to come here and expect to find good employment unless you have a degree, in fact you can expect to be looked down on by your peers if you haven't been to college. Without one you need to set up your own business, or stay in the UK and forget the US - seriously.
