I have a specific question about passports and exit visas for travel
from Ukraine to the United States...

Can anyone tell me if a child leaving Ukraine needs a 'exit visa'.
She was born in Ukraine, and since I am American she has a US Passport
and is a US Citizen as well as being in her mother's Ukrianian
passport.

When we leave for the United States, do we have to show that she has
an 'exit visa' in her US Passport, or simply show that she is in her
mother's Ukrainian passport and that her mom has a US visa?

The US Embassy said that we need an 'exit visa' in her US passport,
but we're wondering if she will lose her Ukrainian citizenship in the
process.

Our daughter has no other stamps in her US Passport.
