Does CIC send receipt for RPRF

Hello,

I had a interview waiver in August 2004 from Buffalo, NY. I did my
medical and send RPRF (Right of Permanent Residence Fee) on August
2004. I haven't heard or received anything from CIC since then.

Does CIC send acknowledgement(receipt) for receiving RPRF?

I did get a receipt of $550 CAD (1st application fee) attached with a
letter from CIC, two weeks after sending my initial application for
permanent residence.

When should i expect to receive passport request from Buffalo?
I appreciate for help and support from the group.

I never got any receipt for any money I sent to CIC.

You would likely get your receipt with your visas. That has been the
pattern at most visa offices.
