Do they take I-751 approval letter at INFOPASS appointment

Hello all,

I got my approval for I-751 this month and went for an Infopass
appointment during the middle of this month and submitted two photos
and my 751 approval notice and did the finger printing. In less than
two weeks I got the new 10 year GREEN CARD. This is at TSC and I must
admit that was very quick(less than 10days after the infopass
appointment)

However, I forgot if the USCIS officer returned my 751 approval notice
back to me or not? I know it doesnt matter now that I got the 10 yr
green card and also the passport stamp but I like to keep things for my
record and due to stress at work lately I CANT remember if the officer
took my approval letter and kept it or gave the 751 APPROVAL letter
back to me?

For the other people who had infopass appointment to get the 10yr
greencard after the 751 approval, could you please let me know if they
KEEP the approval letter or return it back to us? I am going crazy
looking everywhere and not remembering if I gave it to them or got it
back

I know it doesnt really matter but I am going crazy trying to remember
if I got that(751 approval notice) back or not on the day of Infopass
appointment.

I took a photocopy before we went to the appointment. We presented the
original letter. The officer stamped and signed it, made a copy, gave us
the copy and retained the original.
If I remember rightly.

Yes they take original one. I copied before giving to them. Dont worry
in their system you are permanent Resident.

Took it ... don't see what it matters, even for your records. I weeded
out the immigration records for my husband and only kept the actual
filings in binders so everything is nice and easy to research. Guess
I'm not all that anal LOL

We were at san jose office and yes, the letter was taken. We made a
photocopy prior to the appointment

Thanks for the replies. Atleast now I can stop looking for it cuz from
your replies I guess i am sure they didnt return it back to me and
they kept the original

I just did this infopass like 2 weeks and I
cant believe I forgot this...
