My best friend fell in love with this man and got married soon after. They have been married for about 1 1/2 year. A year goes by and they two fell out of love..(lots of differences but still good friends). He is from Jamaica and she is a US citizen. He has applied for his US residency but is waiting for his interview on April. They are living separately and she wants a divorce soon....is it true that once they divorce, he will loose his green card status? And what happens to his US residency? My friend and i are trying to look at every angle and wanted to know what's going to happen....please fill us in....
