Hi all,
I am wanting to migrate to Oz. A news has been reported in a
newspaper in my part of the world that there is racial discrimination
in Oz. According to the news, some groups have been formed in Adelaide
who are mainly targetting the immigrants. They are beating up the
immigrants and harassing them.

How true is this? What is the general crime rate in Oz?

However, I believe that this may not be the case as I haven't heard of
anything of this sort before. But still I wanted to confirm and I
thought of starting this thread.

You will find crime and racism in Australia as in every other country of
the world.

Yep, agreed.

However to the OP, I've not heard of any "gangs" here in Adelaide that
are going round beating up immigrants.
