Default DIMIA addresses

Dear all,

We all know, on the Skilled Migration booklet they have given 2
different addresses - 1 for post (address 1) and 1 for courier
(address 2). Ever since my application for skilled-ind. migration
(Jul2002) I've been sending my documents by recorded mail from UK to
the correct DIMIA address. At this stage, I'm waiting for response
after sending PCC and medicals in July2003. The doctors have charged
me 40 UKP to send the medical reports by courier and they have already
sent those documents. Assuming they sent the documents to DIMIA's
courier desk (address 2), my concern is whether the documents sent to
any of their addresses by means of post or courier would end up in the
right place? Can I also opt to send my future correspondence using
courier service to send to address 2 eventhough I've been sending my
previous correspondence to address 1? I always write my file number on
the top left corner of the envenlope thinking that it would help them
identify case officer easily (as my file number contains the name of
the case officer too!, OSF2002/nnnnnn-xxx, yyy where nnnnnn is my
file number, xxx is surname of case officer and yyy is his first name)

Thanks
J

Jeeva,

Both addresses lead to DIMIA/ASPC, so you shouldn't really worry about
it. As you mentioned, just remember to quote your File Ref number on the
envelope and in your documents' covering letters (if any).

Peter
