Default Dear experts- pls help filling IMM-5257

This is Amit Singh, indian national currently studying in canada under
study permit. My parents back in india wants to come here for a visit
for around 6 months. I went through the IMM 5257 form (application
form) and IMM 5256E (guidelines) but couldnot figure out some of the
things necessary to complete the application form. We would be very
much grateful if you could help us with these few little things,
thanks in advance.

since they will be visiting me for 6 months what kind of visa is
appropriate (single entry or multiple entry)

#1. at the end of #1, it asks whether your child will accompany you to
canada or not, my question is since i am already here, will my parents
say yes or no in the box provided

#5. funds available for your stay in canada, what does it include?
does this mean that we have to add up my bank balance, their bank
balance, my scholarships (brusharies), my assistantships (some of this
money goes towards my tution, do i deduce that?)
or we have to include all our property evaluations, we are really
confused about this question?
how much fund is minimum (in CAD) for their visit for 6 months?

#12 e) f) asks have you or any of your family member ever applied for
any immigration visas?
since i applied for my student visa two years back and even got denied
once before i was issued in second attempt
does this mean that they have to say yes in both e) and f) and give my
visa application number, date applied? if it is not correct what would
be the correct way to complete #12?

we will highly appreciate your suggestion and feedback

these things are really troubling and we dont want to make mistake
while filling up the form
thanks once again
