Default dcf questions

i just wanted to ask a few questions about dcf in london

if i wanted to petition for my british spouse at the american embassy in
london (i have ILR stamp in my passport) the only forms i would need to
complete right now is the I-130, and that unlike filing while both
partners are in the US i dont need to complete all the biographical
forms and affidavits of support until my petition is filed and a second
pack of forms is sent to me?

im planning on seeing a lawyer/solicitor to check these things closer to
the time but i just wanted to check i wasnt completely misunderstanding
the whole process from the start.

(my husband also overstayed by a number of years in the US, but i wont
go into the whole I-601 situation, unless anyone has any recomendations
of lawyers in the united kingdom or illinois who have experience with
overstay waivers)

Thanks for any clarification you can provide

Default Re: dcf questions

I sent my I-130 to the US Embassy in London last Friday. I included a
G-325A for each of us. I followed the instructions at
http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web/ins/i130filing.htm
