I think it depends on what the conviction was for... if it was just
petty theft, I don't think it will matter. I read the rules on it
because I was concerned for myself as I had been arrested as a minor
also. I remember reading that it has to do with your sentence (if they
were in jail, and for how long), as well as the particular crime. You'll
definately need to get the police report and court disposition for the
incident, so I'd say start working on getting that asap, so that it's
one less thing to worry about when you receive your appointment letter!
