Default Could this compromise a future visa?

A visitor to the USA needs a brain scan but has no local health
insurance nor the income to afford this. If she accesses free
healthcare here, would that compromise her ability to get a visitor
visa in the future (being a burden on the state)? She is currently here

on a six-month visitor visa which she planned to extend.

If you are familiar with the rules around this, I'd appreciate your
advice.

I am no expert but I believe that without health insurance, you would have
to pay out of your pocket. The health insurance for visitors is usually
pretty limited as well but it does cover extreme cases so that in my opinion
would be your best option.

Not sure about if you can infact even get free healthcare (there is no
real such thing), BUT if you do get money from a govt. institution
while here then you will have problems later. (Like getting disability
after having been laid off from a job).

I think you will have problems as any money (if they do not take it
beforehand) will be requested and any credit that has been acrued by
you will be negated and you will be in the red . Credit is VERY
important there . If you wish to be a Citizen of that country
,everything about your past circumstances will be examined . In saying
that , and with allthe other comments you have/will read , i think your
health is WAY more important than saying you belong to a certain Country
