could get it though -> dole = Job Seekers Allowance, I don't suppose
you'll be seeking a job will you :)


There might be some other sort of
benefit you could claim for a month - http://www.dwp.gov.uk/




Can't believe I'm leaving this job again either - I used to work for
Barclays before I went away on my WHV, then they offered me my job back,
don't think they expected me to leave so quickly!!!

I would
get nowt, zilch, zip. Wouldn't even bother even if I was entitled. I
think if you pack your job in you have to wait 6 months before any
benefits come your way. I've been with my org 14 years and agree does
seem strange leaving it all behind.

If you feel you need to contact DIMIA for any reason then I think you
should, after all we all pay a fair amount in fees and they are
providing us with a service. This is not the time for the great British
stiff upper lip!
