Hi All,
I'm here in Australia now on a second working holiday visa.(valid till next
april)
I just got back my positive skills assessment as a Medical Scientist.(60
points)
I scored an average of 8.5 on IELTS. (25 points)
I'm 31.(25 points)
And i've worked 3 out of last 4 years as a Medical Scientist (and 12 out of
last 24).(10 points)
So i've 120 points.
I'm living here with my partner i was gonna apply for 136 but now since its
all changed i'm confused.
It seems from what i've been reading my best bet is the off shore skilled
independent 175.
Actually i cant see any on shore equivelent. I know i only have to pop over
to Bali or something when its granted but just with my new job i dont know if
i can do that on short notice.
Is the 175 the best?
Does anyone know of a good site that discusses in simple terms the new visa
(apart from immi)
