Default Confused about DIMA correspondence

Maybe it is a silly question but I am wondering about two DIMA emails:

I frontloaded meds in November. I also sent scanned PCC¢â¬â¢s and a
scanned form 1022 to the email address which I received in the ack
letter last. I did not receive a DIMA response.
At the beginning of January I noticed the size limitation of email
attachments (1000KB) on the DIMA web site. The files I sent were about
1500KB. To avoid any trouble I minimized the size of the files and sent
them to the same address again. This time I got an auto generated
response to confirm receipt of my documents. It was also written that

¢â¬This email address is to only be used if you are sending scanned
documents AND you have NOT been advised of your case officer. If you
have a case officer please send your scanned documents to the relevant
region mailbox.Ã?¢âÂ?¬Ã?Â

A few days later I received another email. The sender included a
region number. I guess this is what they call region mailbox? This
email text said:

¢â¬The documents attached in your email have been received
successfully. These will be forwarded to your case officer. This mailbox
address can ONLY be used for forwarding documents by email. This is to
ensure your documents reach your case officer promptly.Ã?¢âÂ?¬Ã?Â

Does this mean I have a CO (as I said before I frontloaded meds and PCC,
therefore it is possible to have a CO without knowing it) or is it the
usal way they are sending the documents within the department?

At least I know my processing region already.

Anybody else had the same experience recently?

I think I am just too optimistic but you never know....

Hi Tracey!

I have scanned them with 100dpi and saved them as .jpg at first. Then I
have combined both PCC scans in Acrobat and saved it as .pdf. This pdf-
file (2 sides) was around 600KB finally.

Marion

By the way, I think the waiting game is driving me mad and this is the
reason for my strange theory. Realsitcally I have to wait at least 2
more months for the CO!

now I'm worried, we didn't recieve any acknowledgement that they had
recieved the docs that we scanned and emailed. Does anyone think its
worth checking out, or re-sending them?

Hi Seacaptain

When did you sent the mail inculding the docs to DIMA?
I was really surprised to receive these 2 mails from DIMA. I thoguht one
will not get acknowledgements for scanned and emailed docs. Maybe they
are changing their system currently and they just started to sent these
automated responses?!

Hi Marion,

We sent them before Christmas, but last night re-scanned them to below
1MG, just to be on the safe side! Hubby was going to ring tonight to see
if our CO had recieved them as we were getting concerned - it's a
horrible time, you become paranoid about every tiny detail. Maybe we
will get a response in a couple of days due to the re-send

Hi Tracey!

On this web site you can find some tips to reduce file size:
