Both have not attacked any country to my knowledge.
They wouldn't get away with it if they did, though.

Sjoerd,
If you cry too much you might flood the land.
Maybe you Europeans could clean up your own house before you tell us how
to run ours.
I'll come back to Holland because it still gives me a chuckle to see you
leftists ranting over American foreign policy, while taking at least as
much benefit from it.
Stay on topic in this NG. You are not going to convert anyone as the
parrot of the Volkskrant.

It's oh so difficult to understand that "being against Bush" is not
similar to "leftist" and not similar to "being agaist USA".

Be patient with the poor dears, they are so immature and insecure...! To survive, they
still *need* to think - and boast to the world - that they live in the "best country of
all"... ROTFL

The difference is that we haven't recently started unjust wars against
countries that didn't attack us. If Bush only had bad domestic policies I
could agree with you. Unfortunately, he has decided that he wants to rule
the world with his fundamentalist Christian agenda.

Expect a much more hostile reception if you admit to being a Bush supporter.
Everybody who has voted for Bush yesterday is guilty of war crimes.

I am not a parrot of De Volkskrant. The vast majority of the people of the
world believe that the majority of the American people made the wrong choice
today. They will be held accountable.
By the way, I am travelling to Indonesia on Friday and I am happy to see
that after Bush' re-election to dollar dropped another percent against the
euro. So again I will get more rupiah for my euros!

I expect the number of people seeking political asylum in Canada will go
up dramatically.

But it's getting close again.
This said, there might not be that much of a move until China finally
figures out they can't keep continuing to bank the US deficit forever.
That buying commodities at an ever increasing price, while selling the
product made from the raw material at a price that's staying flat will
eventually turn into a losing proposition.
When that happens, the dollar will drop again, by a substantial fraction
of the jump of the RMB compared with the USD.

That was my HYPOthesis. I don't know any source that correlates travelers
with their states. I was responding to a series of posts which reported a
high percentage of non-Bush supporters travelling in Europe. Since non-Bush
supporters are, primarily, Democrats, and Democratic states corrollate with
higher income and education, it's not a particularly big stretch to say,
people with larger incomes and more education are more likely to travel than
people with smaller incomes and less education, and, therefore, more
Democrats tend to travel.
