Default client number and transaction reference number???

I'm filling out Form 1231 and I need to provide the following:

Client number - is this the ICSE Request ID on the acknowledgment?

Transaction reference number - is this for electronic applications only?

No agent, I would just like to have be able to ask them questions over
the phone. When we filled out the forms we just left the main contact
as my husband because we figured all communicaiton would be by email,
which I can check. I would have liked to add myself as an additional
person with access but that option wasn't available.

So tonight I called ASPCo find out if our PCC's arrived because the post
office says they have been in the country for 3 weeks, but can't say for
sure if it was delivered So I tried to call and find out but they
won't give me any information from the file because I'm not the main
applicant. This really sucks because my husband is almost always at
work and even if he was home he wouldn't call them anyway.

Oh well... I'm still debating if I want to send the form or not as I
don't want to slow them down. I sent the checks by registered mail
which requires a signature so they are almost guaranteed to be there.
It's just killing me not knowing for sure as if they are not there we
will be delayed at least another month once we find out. When I sent
them I didn't realize I could have scanned and emailed them so I'd have
to get new ones.

I'm just panicking a bit I guess because my husbands hoping to start at
in January or February and a month delay would screw up our plans.

You did the same thing as us with the pcc's. when we sent them, that
same day we found out we could have scanned them. typical isnt it. I
would send it off, cant see it delaying anything.I bet its a 2minute
addition to the form rather than a big change. x

From what i have read on other threads, you can track the parcel via
ozpost once they are in the country...have you checked that way hun??? x

I checked the site but only saw a way to track express courier
international packages, tried that and it didn't recognize my number. I
didn't see any other places to track packages.

Oh well. I'm trying not to worry as Canada Post says registered may is
almost 100% guaranteed to arrive. I just hate the almost part!

ask on the pre july thread, i am sure someone on there has tracked their

how to do it though, sorry about that.

Plus the 100% sounds a good bet it got there to me. lol. x

Thanks for the tip. I did a little search and found the link that
weasy posted.

http://www.auspost.com.au/APC/CDA/Forms/APC_CDA_Specific_Enquiry_Form/0-
,1062,CH2540%257EMO19,00.html

I will try that just for peace of mind

Well I just got an email back (very quick!!) and they have no record of
it arriving in Australia

So I'm not sure if they just punching in the same code I did. Or if
that really means it didn't make it. It's a little concerning!

Anyway I guess I'll have to wait until Canada Post gets back to me about
it. They tell me there investigation will take 60-90 days!!!!!!

So I am a little pissed at the moment as if it didn't make it I'll have
to get police checks and send them again which will take a while. This
is so frustrating. I guess I will get my husband to sign the form so I
can call and ask them myself. In the meantime I think I will also email
them from his account and ask if they received it.
