I became Canadian Citizen yesterday. Here's the information from
CIC's e-client status online that demonstrates my timeline for those
interested:

We received your application for grant of Canadian citizenship (adult)
on September 29, 2003.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application, and a

We started processing your application on December 16, 2003.

Your file was transferred on January 22, 2004 to the Windsor office
for the citizenship testing and taking of the citizenship oath. The
Windsor office will contact you to write the Citizenship test.

We sent you a notice on May 06, 2004 to XXXXXXXXXXXXXX, Windsor,
Ontario, Canada , XXXXX to appear and write the Citizenship test on
May 19, 2004 at 1:30pm. If this address is not correct, please contact
