Greetings:

Just wanted to post my experience on n-400 today. This newsgroup is a
great source and I am indebted to the netizens who have provided
excellence guidance thru the process.

My timeline: N400 in San Jose
application date: July 10th
fingerprinting: november 20th
interview: August 10th
Oath: Oct 22nd

Everything went smoothly, the interview, oath etc. I have no criminal
background though financially was in trouble due to being an
entrepreneur in this economy.

INS just checks your criminal background not civil or family
history...

This is my last message on this board and I will not be able reply to
any queries.. the startup saps all the time.

Good Luck and hang in there! The process might be slow and INS might
be frustrating at times but I have not seen a better country.

Welcome Andy. I'm curious why you feel that you've never seen a
