Default Carlisle England Air Service?

Hi, I'm having difficulty in finding airline schedules from Carlisle -
trying to fly back to Dublin. Thanks, John

Newcastle would be the nearest airport, Ryanair (possibly others) fly to
Dublin from there.

I don't think Carlisle airport has any scheduled passenger flight to
anywhere at the moment. Just charters and cargo, and general aviation. Other
than Newcastle, there are Dublin flights from Prestwick (3 a day; train to
Glasgow and bus) and Blackpool (1 a day; train to Preston, change for
Blackpool South train getting off at Star Gate).

Try the following:

Carlisle dep. 10:07, Glasgow Central arr. 11:28
(This is the Virgin Trains service from Birmingham New Street to
Glasgow Central. Runs Monday to Friday.)
Glasgow Central dep. 12:00, Glasgow Prestwick International Airport
arr. 12:43
(This is the ScotRail service from Glasgow Central to Ayr. Runs Monday
to Saturday.)(If the train from Birmingham runs late, there are
services to Prestwick every 30 minutes.)
Glasgow Prestwick International Airport dep. 15:30, Dublin Airport
arr. 16:15
(This is a Ryanair service. Operates daily - there are three flights
a day.)

I hope this helps!

Yes, see: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/planmyjourney

for train timings and fares. Once you get to Newcastle Central, you need
to take the Tyne & Wear Metro out to the airport. Details at:
