Default capping 103 143


is there any way of knowing when the caps for visa 103 and 143 have been
reached, and when does the year start for these caps

There is a very long queue for 103 - you're looking at somewhere between
10 and 20 years if you apply now.

143 visa applications typically take 12 months or so. The difference
for Contributory Parent is that there are not only more visas, but fewer
applications (because of the higher fees involved).

The visa year runs from 1 July to 30 June.

Offshore parent (non-contributory).

The subclass 143 visa is the offshore permanent contributory
parent visa.

What about a 173 Jeremy, any idea how long this is currently taking to
be processed?
