Default Cancelling visa

I have submitted affidavit of support for a relative. He has received the visa to us, but not in USA yet. Now I find out that the person has serious medical problem. I am worried that he will be financial burden on me. Is it possible to cancel the visa he has received. Thanks in advance for you suggestion and help.

Well its a genuine problem and you have very less chances to escape from this problem. But you may go and ask from passport office and can tell your problem and you might be given help and hope for the best.
