Default Beaches close to Copenhagen

I will visit Malmo, Helsingborg, Helsingor (and the two castles there),
and Kristianstad while I am staying in Copenhagen. But I'd also like
to walk along the Baltic Sea. I don't care if I walk on sand, rocks,
or grass, just as long as I can dip my toes into the Baltic Sea. Can
someone recommend a 1-2 hour (each way) train day-trip from
Copenhagen? Preferably the destination would not have industrial
buildings contiguous to the area.

There is actually a very long beach at Malmo, so you could just go while you're
there.

Several years ago I was driven to a gorgeous beach in Demark called Mon
(there is a slash in the O, and it is probably pronounced "muen") There were
marvelous chalk cliffs something like one sees in Dover, only more dramatic.
It was about 2 hours south of Copenhagen, and I believe that there is a
train that goes there from town. If not, possibly a bus. Well worth a trip.
The little commnity had some interesting buildings and antiquities as well.

Neither are at the Baltic sea but Öresund.
There's a beach at Klampenborg just some S-train stops north of Copenhagen.

Kristianstad is inland but some 20km outside you'll find Åhus at the real
Baltic sea with some good beaches to the south (Yngsjö beach)

What's wrong with a beach in Copenhagen? I was taken to one in the wee
hours, not too long from Mid-Summer Night's Eve. She took off her
clothes and ran into the surf. 'Egad!', thunk I, 'She must be a
Viking! That water has to be icy.' She convinced me to join her.
Hating things cold, especially cold water anywhere on my body, I took
a good run across the smooth strand so that the water would trip me,
which it did.

It was a shocking experience. The water was warm . . . very warm!
Almost immediatly I exclaimed "O'm'gawd! It's the Gulf Current! Of
course it's warm!"

I entered Kristianstad and Åhus into Die Bahn but could not find a
listing for a train, so I assume there is no train between those cities.
Does a regular bus travel between those cities? When is the crowded
season, mid-June-to mid-August?

No train but bus from Kristianstad.
Swedish beaches aren't so crowded simply because we have plenty of them.
Weather may be colder after mid-August.

It does:

(Buses after midnight run only on Friday and Saturday nights, plus the
nights preceding public holidays.)
